It’s been quite a month for Insight with several accolades casting us among the elite workplaces in North America. As much as we appreciate the love, it only scrapes the surface of what we’re building to be the workplace of choice in the tech industry — and why.
On Tuesday, we were named on the Forbes America's Best Large Employers 2024 list, which ranks the top 500 employers across 25 industries based on employee satisfaction, engagement and growth opportunities. Newsweek honored us last week as one of America's Greatest Workplaces for Women in 2024, recognizing the companies that are leading the way in gender equality, diversity and inclusion.
Forbes also recently named us among its Canada’s Best Employers 2024.
These accolades are becoming par for the course at Insight and are especially meaningful as we continue to grow as a global Solutions Integrator. After all, our people are our greatest strength. Our clients depend on us to unlock new possibilities for their business. They count on us to find the most creative and effective digital strategies to help them go further, faster.
But achieving a compelling vision for their transformation must start with teammates who feel inspired about their work. It’s not simply a matter of attracting and retaining top talent. Developing true potential and technical acumen is just as crucial.
Since 2019, we’ve implemented over a dozen initiatives to promote a culture of inclusivity, innovation and professional growth. These include:
Innovate@Insight, helping teammates turn their great ideas into patented technology through collaborative patent workshops, Tech Jams, hackathons and technical town halls. We’ve sent 113 patent applications to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and have had 10 patents issued to date.
Professional centers of excellence for recruiting and developing technical and sales talent. This includes our Azure Academy, derived from a high demand for cloud skills, and the Insight Sales Academy, which prepares new teammates for sales careers through four training phases.
Eleven unique Teammate Resource Groups to cultivate diversity awareness, allyship and teammate development.
A Diversity & Inclusion Mentoring Program that encourages professionals to seek mentors beyond their area of expertise, expanding the horizon of what’s possible for their career arc.

Jen took to the skies to find her passion in human resources and leadership. She is a leader in Insight’s philanthropic endeavors, including the Reach program, whose mission is to connect children with technology through in-market giving to the communities in which Insight operates. Under Jen’s tenure, Insight founded the In It Together Foundation, which serves teammates in times of crisis and is jointly funded by teammates and Insight. Also under Jen’s leadership, Insight has been listed several times on the Phoenix Business Journal’s Best Places to Work and was awarded a spot on the Fortune 100 Best Workplaces for Diversity in 2018 and 2019.
