Insight Recognized Again as One of Montreal’s 2023 Top Employers
Insight Canada has prioritized putting people first by providing a culture promoting perpetual learning, professional development
CHANDLER, Ariz., March 3, 2023 — Insight Enterprises (NASDAQ:NSIT), the leading Solutions Integrator helping clients accelerate their digital journey, today announced its Canadian business has been named for a third year in a row to the Montréal's Top Employers list, published annually by the Montreal Gazette and Mediacorp Canada Inc. as part of the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project.
The 18th annual Montréal’s Top Employers list recognizes the companies that offer exceptional places to work in Greater Montréal and lead their industries as employers of choice. To determine the winners, each submission is evaluated by rigorous criteria in eight areas: workplace; work atmosphere and social; health, financial and family benefits; vacation/time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.
Insight Canada has grown its total full-time staff to 950 teammates nationwide. The team’s track record of encouraging continued learning through company and partner-led courses encourages teammates to pursue opportunities for advancement within or beyond their current career track.
“We’re helping our team grow as leaders and to think boldly about delivering exciting new ways to do business. It’s prioritizing our values of hunger, heart and harmony to ensure a culture that puts our people first and encourages them to think outside the box, both in terms of their careers and how we innovate for our clients,” said John Dathan, senior vice president and general manager of Insight Canada. “The best way to add the greatest value to our business is by nourishing our teammates with knowledge.”
In addition to continued education that spans leadership development at all levels, Insight helps teammates maintain a healthy work-life balance through other programs fueled by the company’s hunger, heart and harmony values, such as:
The company offers flexible work schedules balancing remote work and in-office hours.
Mentorship at all levels through diverse teammate resource groups, an Elevate program launched in October to identify and develop top talent, and a Get Board Ready program that prepares women in executive roles to serve on public and private corporate boards.
New this year, Insight is offering a “work from wherever” program in which teammates can choose to work from a remote location for one month out of the year.
Teammates who wish to donate their time to community volunteer work or tend to their own mental health receive two paid “Heart Days” per year.
Insight offers three weeks of paid vacation after the first year on the job.
