Insight’s all-inclusive mission
It’s both energizing and encouraging to work alongside partners and clients that understand the true power of technology to make our lives and work easier. I’m also proud to be part of a company that prioritizes diversity and a sense of teamwork daily.
A key way we accomplish this is through our establishment of teammate resource groups, which are led by our teammates with three goals in mind: Support a diverse workforce, support Insight’s business objectives, and promote a respectful and inclusive environment. With the addition of three new groups this year — InsightABLE, Veteran Connection and AsianPacific@Insight — we’ve seen 1,300 teammates step up to be voices of unity across our eight diverse groups. This includes 900 participants in our Women With Insight peer-network group alone.
I’m particularly excited to see women taking on leadership roles at Insight, with our company getting more involved with similar industry-wide groups. Not to brag, but Insight was recognized by The Org as having the second most diverse executive team in tech this year. Fortune named us among its Best Workplaces for Diversity and Forbes also considers Insight among its America’s Best Employers for Diversity.
Recognition results from action, and we’ll continue to work to create a workplace where everyone can be their authentic selves. That's why Insight recently aligned recently aligned with Women In Cloud and the newly formed Women Executives Channel Advisory Board (WECAB) to serve as a voice for continued change and to strengthen diversity among our ranks.
While we’re all accustomed to the rapid change of continuously emerging new technology, change on deeper issues doesn’t happen overnight. By working together, we can make a lasting impact for good.
