Most companies are undergoing transformations so they are better positioned to compete in the experience economy. One of the biggest obstacles holding them back from delivering connected customer experiences across all touchpoints is the state of their customer data. For most companies, their customer data is siloed, disconnected and fragmented.
Founded in 2011, Reltio’s vision is to help companies power connected customer experience with connected data. Reltio Connected Customer 360 is a SaaS platform built on a cloud-native, big data architecture that features graph technology and machine learning. With this platform, companies can optimize business agility, realize breakthrough scalability, and maximize the potential of artificial intelligence to deliver the big ideas that yield big results.
The Reltio platform delivers connected customer data that enables organizations to boost customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value with hyper-personalized customer experiences across all touchpoints. It helps companies accelerate revenue growth by rapidly launching new offerings and supporting new business models. It also simplifies compliance with data privacy regulations, such as the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Innovative Global 2000 in life sciences, healthcare, financial services, insurance, retail, CPG, high-tech and travel, and hospitality trust Reltio to manage the data that matters most to their businesses.
Forrester Research places Reltio as a top industry leader in its 2019 Master Data Management Wave™ report, noting, ”Reltio uses machine learning, knowledge graph, graph database, auto-optimization of storage, and embedded analytics to provide one of the most versatile MDM products on the market and one of the few ready to evolve into MDM’s third generation.”

“Reltio was born in the cloud and the Reltio Connected Customer 360 was architected to support multiple public cloud providers so that our customers can take advantage of the value each one offers,” said Anastasia Zamyshlyaeva, Co-Founder and Chief Architect. Today, the platform is available on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), with Microsoft Azure on the roadmap.
In its early stage as a Google Cloud Platform Partner, Reltio utilized App Engine, BigQuery, and Cloud Datastore, but soon desired to leverage GCP’s full suite of comprehensive computing services. To maximize its existing GCP implementation, Reltio needed a partner with deep GCP experience to help it perform a lift and shift migration of its platform – which Reltio wanted to have accomplished within just two months.
Reltio’s partnership with SADA, an Insight company, began through a positive reference from Google. SADA’s team provided consultative services addressing Reltio’s overall goals and challenges, developing a project plan for the lift and shift from AWS, and providing project management services to Reltio’s team on timing and deliverables for each step of implementation.
To begin, SADA advised Reltio on areas where the company had previously been bootstrapping its GCP efforts, such as Cloud Pub/Sub and streaming capabilities. SADA helped Reltio minimize costs and optimize performance platform-wide.
SADA’s experts also ensured that Reltio’s staff were skilled on the new GCP services they would be using prior to implementation, including Kubernetes and GCP databases. Five of Reltio’s developers were trained on GCP’s machine learning tools through Google’s Advanced ML Solutions Lab, which opened up a new direction and market opportunity for the company.

SADA’s team continues to provide Reltio with assistance in a variety of areas, including technical support, optimizing costs, and accelerating the adoption of additional services. For example, SADA recently worked with Reltio to optimize its CI/CD by reworking its Chef and Terraform code.
Reltio’s utilization of GCP has expanded to a wide portfolio of features and services, including GKE, BigTable, BigQuery, Datastore, Dataproc, Dataflow, Dataprep, Data Studio, GCS, and Pub/Sub. The company and its customers are now enjoying all of the benefits of a true multi-cloud environment, including:
Reltio’s first line of support is the SADA Technical Account Management (TAM) team. “With SADA, we get a more personalized approach to problem-solving and an understanding of the context for any issue we encounter,” said Zamyshlyaeva.
