Insight CFO Bryan Honored as One of Phoenix Business Journal’s ‘Most Admired Leaders’
Glynis Bryan recognized as a visionary of Insight’s transformation into a global, end-to-end solution provider known for its values
TEMPE, Ariz., May 28, 2021 – Chief Financial Officer Glynis Bryan of Insight Enterprises (NASDAQ:NSIT), the global provider of Insight Intelligent Technology Solutions™ for organizations of all sizes, was recognized among the 2021 class of the Phoenix Business Journal’s Most Admired Leaders during a virtual ceremony on May 13.
The 12th annual event paid homage to 27 honorees who have demonstrated integrity, values, vision and a commitment to excellence. The list consists of community and industry leaders championing innovation, leadership and community service through corporate giving, board service and volunteerism. This year’s winners were selected from 171 nominations.
Bryan has served as Insight’s chief financial officer since 2007, playing an integral role in the company’s evolution from an IT hardware and software reseller to a technology solutions and services provider. Insight is now an $8.3 billion global integrator of digital transformation, with more than 6,000 technology partners and 3,700 deep technical experts who architect, implement, manage and secure modern solutions maximizing the business value of technology. Bryan has been instrumental in orchestrating Insight’s growth strategy, including completion of 11 acquisitions since 2008. The acquisitions have expanded Insight’s operations to 19 countries and brought strong expertise in emerging cloud and crucial edge-based technologies.
“As a soft-spoken girl from Jamaica, I never thought I would help shape a global Fortune 500 company that is influencing how the world’s largest brands use technology to evolve,” said Bryan. “I am grateful to be in such a pivotal industry during times of massive change, and incredibly thankful for our Insight teammates who excel in technology but also highly value personal relationships as we make the meaningful connections that help businesses run smarter. It is an honor to be recognized by the Phoenix Business Journal alongside so many deserving Valley business leaders and to work for a company that shares my personal values of putting people first in all that we do.”
Bryan has helped define the company’s now familiar hunger, heart and harmony core values to challenge the status quo, make a positive impact, and embrace diverse perspectives. In the last year, Insight’s team-oriented culture has garnered accolades including the 2021 Fortune World’s Most Admired Companies, Fortune’s Best Workplaces for Diversity, 2021 Forbes America’s Best Employers for Diversity, 2020 Forbes World’s Best Employers, 2020 Forbes America’s Best Employers for Veterans, and No. 5 on the Phoenix Business Journal’s 2020 Best Places to Work. In the technology industry, Insight also holds the second greatest representation of women in top executive roles, according to a recent industry report.
Bryan serves as board chair of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley, having volunteered with the Club for the last 10 years and routinely taking children shopping for back-to-school supplies and gifts during the holidays. Insight sponsors the neighboring Boys & Girls Club of Guadalupe through the company’s Reach program, donating laptops to teenagers who are going to college to help further their education goals.
“Glynis is a true champion, leader and advocate of Insight’s values and for doing what is best for our clients and teammates,” said Insight President and CEO Ken Lamneck. “She has been a calming voice of unity for us through some very disruptive times for our industry and society in general, and her eye for responsibly growing our business organically and through acquisition has significantly elevated Insight’s position in our industry.”
