Insight's 30 CRN Women of the Channel

It wasn’t surprising to learn that 30 Insight leaders have been distinguished today as Women of the Channel by CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company. Once again, our group of outstanding women represents one of the largest on the list, which this year recognizes 1,700 women overall for their channel expertise and vision.

Six Insight executives also have been named as Power 100 Solution Providers, an elite subset who CRN regards as the most influential women in the industry for their channel advocacy and dedication to helping their clients and technology partners succeed.

This year’s Insight and SADA honorees are:

  • Michelle Ambrose, senior vice president, strategic partnerships, SADA

“It is a great privilege to honor the remarkable achievements of these women leaders in the IT channel,” said Jennifer Follett, VP, U.S. content and executive editor, CRN. “Each woman on the list has demonstrated a deep commitment to innovation and leadership that advances their organizations and drives transformation and success across the IT channel.”

At Insight, we couldn’t agree more as we continue to work to help change the face of the IT industry to be more representative of the diverse clientele we serve. Our hunger, heart and harmony values drive our success, and we take pride in creating opportunities for everyone.

Our presence on this year’s Women of the Channel List is expected — at Insight, gender equity starts at the top. We have 43 percent women in executive officer roles in the C-suite, compared to the industry average of 25 percent. Our 39 percent representation of women in leadership positions (director and above) outpaces the rest of the tech industry (29 percent).

Equally important is building a diverse foundation across our entire organization. Our Women With Insight and She’s Insight teammate resource groups have more than 900 participants, with male teammates also supporting through our Allies-in-Action cohorts. To advance women in technology, we also partner with organizations like Women in Cloud, WIT Network, WECAN, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, and ATHENA Emerging Leadership Program.

We are proud to support the remarkable women of our field and uplift their efforts by championing responsible and equitable business practices. By recruiting diverse talent, developing leaders from the moment they start, and providing dynamic mentorship, we are working towards our goal of changing the IT industry for the better.

Congratulations to all our Women of the Channel — we couldn’t be prouder of the way in which you represent Insight so well for our clients, partners and communities.
