“Some of the things Bounce wants to do in the future just couldn’t be done on its old infrastructure,” said Brent Breithaupt, regional delivery leader for Insight Digital Innovation, and a member of Bounce’s board of directors. “Rebuilding that foundation to make it easier for parents to register for events or for anyone to make a donation should really propel Bounce forward.”
Overall, Insight teammates volunteered more than 800 hours to the project, helping Bounce earn a Social Innovator Award at the 18th annual Chicago Innovation Awards.
“Thanks to Insight, Bounce’s digital presence is enormously improved. Our new site provides a better user experience to both first-time and returning visitors, with greater functionality and a superior look and feel. Feedback from families, donors, partners and volunteers has been extremely positive. We’re truly grateful to the Insight team for their passionate commitment to helping kids and families connect to overcome the extreme isolation they face,” said Joan Steltmann, Bounce founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Delivering meaningful outcomes to our community
Technology can be a critical component to maintaining a business’s relevance and expanding opportunities for growth. Together, Insight and the Bounce Children’s Foundation created a more accessible platform that promotes the company’s mission, connects its communities and, ultimately, helps children bounce back from illness.
