Many workers are excited about generative AI. But how do different generations — from Gen Z to Boomers — feel about adding AI-powered devices to their daily workflows?
In a survey conducted by Insight in partnership with The Harris Poll, 604 employees from three age groups — Gen Z, Millennials and Gen X/Boomers/Seniors — expressed their feelings about AI-powered devices in the workplace. The varied responses across generations revealed several statistically significant findings.

73% of employees believe AI-powered devices will increase their productivity. However, nearly 2 in 3 employees (64%) believed AI-powered devices will change critical skills needed to do their job.
3 in 4 employees believe AI-powered devices will help their employer stay competitive. But nearly half say they need more training and guidelines from their company to get the most out these tools.
