Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a technology that wirelessly identifies people or objects using radio waves. The components work automatically and include tags, readers and IT systems. These devices can search, identify, track and communicate with objects and people. The reader can transmit data or commands to the tag through scanning.
RFID technology has various applications in manufacturing, supply chain, agriculture, transportation, healthcare and corporate services. It can track inventory, monitor production, improve logistics and enhance asset management.
