Customize the shopping experience

You’ll have access to hundreds of thousands of product SKUs in our online marketplace. But, to keep productivity efficient, you can limit employee access to your preferred product selection during the procurement process. We’ll tailor that experience for you through:

  • Catalog standardization: When you use catalog standardization, you’ll be able to ensure company-wide product purchasing standards. Our specialists will work with your team to establish which products your buyers can and can’t see when using myInsight. This helps eliminate purchases of unapproved technology — increasing your budget and IT administration control.
  • Company standards: Company Standards lets your team create groups of frequently ordered products, so you have a quicker way to source and buy. For instance, you can create Company Standards that help you quickly order devices and accessories for new hires, or special projects.

Customization doesn’t stop at what products are available. When making a purchase, you can update the form fields to reflect the data each business unit needs to capture on its invoices. These custom fields can then be translated into our reporting database, which gives you an extra dimension to track and analyze.

You can also create prebuilt inventory order templates with all the fields prepopulated and available to send on demand. Order templates can be created from your Shopping cart or by converting a past order.

Creating unique user accounts

Your users have different needs based on role, location and more. You can customize the welcome page upon logging in to fit all their needs. The Dashboard offers roles-based widgets that give you a high-level overview of what’s available at a user’s fingertips, delivering an enjoyable experience that engages employees and drives adoption.

You can set a user’s access on a group or tool basis to help ensure their account is focused on what they need to see. Groups can be managed holistically on the back end, so changing permissions for an entire set of users is simple. Organizing users into groups helps with access control, catalog availability and reporting.

Accounts can also be customized to fit your brand standards, and landing pages users will visit after logging in can be customized by country, language or currency to meet your global needs.
